Janelle Taylor

Treasurer & Secretary of the Circle Arts Collective

Janelle Taylor is a lifelong learner known for her authenticity, boldness and attention to detail. Additionally, she is a theatre enthusiast and performer. She loves the opportunity that community theatre brings for professional and hobby performers alike! It is because of such spaces that Janelle met and embraced a connection with Ashley Hirsh. After almost a year of friendship, Janelle and Ashley began discussing their vision and dream for founding a theatre organization of their own. Thus, the Circle Arts Collective was created.

Janelle has worked for various non-profit organizations in administrative and public relations roles for several years. She values a mission-driven organization and is happy to be on the board for Circle Arts Collective to help guide mission-focused projects for the overall creative community. When Janelle isn’t working behind the scenes for the Circle Arts Collective, she is the Housing Manager for Attic Angel Community, a non-profit retirement community in Madison, Wisconsin. She oversees operations, project management, and public relations for their independent living offerings, including the award winning Prairie Point neighborhood. You can find Janelle on stage a few times a year performing in musicals or original plays and multimedia pieces such as the “Tales of Series”. Her recent musical theatre performances include Regina in Rock of Ages, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Holly in the Wedding Singer.

She is proud to be part of an organization that can bring art to life in our little corner of the world. As Albert Einstein once said, “Creativity is intelligence having fun.”
